  • I practice Kyokushin and contrary to popular belief there are no 'superior' art, only superior practicers. Both of the kids did really well for their age. :D

  • that was rather impressive actually, better than a lot of the fights you see on youtube. I'd love see their fights when their older cus they're pretty damn good

  • не справедливо. малой китаец много косячил в спаринге. киокушинец бился по честной. OSU.

  • I think the karate-kid has better technique, but as stated above, their both great for their age. :)

  • What broadcast station/show is this from?

  • @deek77 Sir

    You are very welcome. Osu

  • @1banryukyu Oh, I see, I stand corrected then. Many thanks, Osu!

  • @deek77 Sir

Japanese Kanji has Kun & On. On is Chinese-derived sound of the kanji and is written in Katakana or in Romaji. The Chinese Hanzi at 0:02 in this video is read Shorin Kem(n) (there is no kanji for "PO" here) which is how the Japanese read that kanji. The Chinese Hanzi for Kung Fu would be written in Katakana or Romaji and read as Kan Fu. And PO(ho) is another kanji which means law in Japanese and is not used in this video at all. Shorin Ken is that Chinese style of Martial Arts.Osu

  • fk man im enjoying this more then ufc

  • fuk i wish i learnt from a young age

  • i'm guessing they have heavy headgear on because they're minors and don't want any serious brain damage?

  • @afiadordelima Now you may say, "Well what about the karate styles which call themselves Shorin Kempo?" Well Shorin-Ryu is considered a bonafide karate style, as is Shornji Kempo. But any person who practices an art with "Shorin" or "Kenpo" in the name will tell you that those words are the Japanese translation for Shaolin and Chuan Fa, respectively. Both refer to Chinese martial arts, hence it's not uncommon to hear Japanese refer to kung fu as Shorin Kempo.
