WAT??? NO IT DOES NOT BELONG TO SOMALIA...the original song was made in 1970s by famous afar singer......then it was translated a few years after into Amharic...and then finally translated into Somali.....this music video is just a remake of the original song from the 1970s

@Samantar10 LOL ohh ok. but its partially b/c people dont say the tribe/ethnic group they're from when people ask them what they are. Like, I usually just say im Ethiopian to any ethiopian and non-ethiopian. But once a person( usually ethiopian) asks me which tribe Im frm/parents are from , then that's when i get specific! ..Like a somalian person from somalia doesnt say "oh im from this clan' when they're 1st asked what they are. So idont expect an ethiopian to say that either!

@yaya99ification well to be honest, most of the somalis in here grew up in the west and are clueless so they are very ignorant so I don't usually think much of they say. What I consider myself? Well if people ask me I say I am half harari half Somali, a lot of times people don't know what harari is so I tell them it's an ethnic group that live in Ethiopia. Sometimes when I am very tired and I don't want to explain much I just say Ethio.

@Samantar10 ahahhahaha no u dint mention that to me, but i understand u better(meaning i know why its eating u up).Dont make it seem like the somali's/somalians came in peace..-Most commented negatively at first saying how the Afars stole this song from the somali's or that they've copied their culture. That's when i commented & said what i had to say..I dont see the need for them to claim any ethnic. (And we all know it wasn't bout brotherhood)!--But um, what exactly do u consider yourself??--
