The evening rush hour in South Florida is marked along the Tri-Rail (ex-Seaboard Airline / Coast Line) route by the southbound Amtrak express trains from New York. These trains make only a few stops, and Boca Raton is not one of them -- Delray Beach and Deerfield Beach get the honors -- but the sight is sure impressive as the latter-day silverliner rushes by. This evening was particularly suggestive with the waning late autumn twilight and the moon high in the sky. The train is Amtrak's Silver Star, which travels from New York City to Miami via Tampa (it doubles back on itself at Lakeland), as it can be deduced from the time (it is the first of the two southbound Amtrak trains) and the consist with two sleepers (the Silver Meteor, which travels directly down Florida to Miami, usually carries three). Many thanks for the observations to YouTube viewers.

That was the Silver Star, not the Silver Meteor.
