  • Im struggling between getting either the C9 or Ena9 One touch?

What are really the differences? what would you guys suggest and why?

  • @anshumansaksena Mainly, size -- the Ena series is designed for a smaller footprint overall. The C9 also has more programming functionality than the Ena9 does, so if you want to have multiple programmable options, go with the C9. They will both produce similar coffee and milk results. - Kat

  • @SeattleCoffeeGear thanks! but how have both machines been in terms of reliability whats better?

  • @anshumansaksena We haven't had the Ena9 long enough to know; if it's like the other Enas, should be fine and they seem to both be equally reliable. - Kat

  • Nice job guys, keep up the reviews!

  • @lancer050 Thank you! - Kat

  • @cninham 150F is the highest you will get; we did measure this out on the Z7 (separate video) and all of them perform similarly. - Kat

  • @cninham We have tested it to about 150F on a good day. All of their auto frothers perform the same and you cannot adjust the temp - Kat

  • Kat/Gail, when reviewing of superautomatic espresso machines with automatic/one-touch milk frothing/steaming capabilities, such as the Jura Impressa C9, Z5, or Z7, would it be possible to measure the temperature of both frothed and steamed milk and report on the temperature, please?

I am considering purchasing a new Impressa C5 (with optional accessory: Professional Cappuccino Frother, Art. 67693) or C9 One Touch. The temp of the steamed milk/froth will be the deciding factor. Need 150F. Thnx!

  • Kat, you mention that the Jura Impressa C9 One Touch *only* does automatic milk frothing for either latte or cappuccino, with milk temperature around 140 deg/F. Is it possible to get the frothed milk a little warmer, say 150-160 deg/F? When I look at the Jura USA web site they mention a 2-stage frothing nozzle (for "manual" milk frothing), Art. 65322. Will this fit the C9 and do manual milk frothing?

    Thanx -- Cameron
