Mala beads hold 108 beads plus the 'marker' bead. Hold end to end in your hands, be sure to make a figure '8' out of the mala beads, so that you can roll both ends to & fro smoothly. The Maha mantra is very useful for mindful development. Do it once each am for exactly one year. That or the Gyatri mantra sung here. Love those Indian women singing..some good voices here !  Sitar and Vina..listen to those instruments too.
