a little too far out for me... those who've watched 5 or 6 versions of Tommy playing this, and maybe seen him live a few times, know what I mean. Great percussion and bass solo in this version, although the mix is bad, and the reverb on the vocals is too much.
I'm not saying that I think he's not the greatest, because I definitely think he is... I'm just saying that, if this is the only version you've seen of Tommy doing this song, check out a few of the others.

@Hoffletrof456 He always said he can't sing much. When I play guitar, not very well, I can't even talk let alone attempt to sing so it's not suprising he's sometimes a little out of tune when he plays so well. When you look at a Rembrandt, you don't choose a corner to admire, it's the whole of the picture that matters.

What's more astounding is that if you UTube three or four different versions of him playing this song - every one of them is different. He improves this from scratch every time he plays it. It's sick.
