@justcallmeassinine Well, Thanks for you response. We need a reform asap, hope we can make it on time.
-
@omolivera Build awareness of the crime of "greed and power ". Make it as low an act as pedophilia.Stop listening and expose "bought" politicians.Insist on transparency laws. The list goes on and on.Campaign reform. The list goes on and on.
-
@omolivera Simply, it means allowing the richest to accumulate more and more wealth, in the understanding that they will reinvest into the economy. Unfortunately, this does not work because they don't reinvest into the economy, because the poorest and middle don't have any money and the poorest and middle class are the customers. Instead they invest in self inflating investments, usually commodities or dirvitives, which results in market bubbles.

@justcallmeassinine So, How we fix this? If the problem is 'Greed and Power' what in your opinion is the way we can redirect the course of this ship we call Nation?
-
@dangerouslytalented Can you explain to me in just a few words what is the concept of "Supply side economics" Thanks.

@GeneralGrove Eisenhower saw firsthand what evil mankind was capable of when he fought against Hitler. After that,he recognized that the potential for this evil lies in all humans and in all areas of the world. He warned the Americans citizens to be vigilant against the forces of greed, power, hatred and cruelty. He was a REPUBLICAN.
-
@plllll0 Bernie Sanders is what a great human being should be as well.
-
@omolivera Eisenhower warned against the military industrial forces that control the US.He was a Republican and a great leader of integrity. He could not imagine that those forces would spread beyond the US into a global cartel, rivaling The Third Reich, which he knew all about from his wartime experience.

@dangerouslytalented I agree. A graduated income tax imposes greater taxes upon the really really rich. Many of the superrich have called for it.But the merely rich and the wannabes form the mass of GOP ideology and they worship wealth. The US once had a graduated tax run by progressive GOP in the 20th century. The US also had the highest standard of living and the largest middle class in the world. So what changed that ? The war on the middle classes. Some trace it back to Nixon/Reagan globalists
-
@justcallmeassinine That is too fatalistic, and does not provide any hope of a solution, where one clearly exists. Graduated income tax.
Too much wealth is being concentrated in the hands of the ultrarich, and this is harming the economy, completely distorting prices of everything and disrupting trade. It is destroying the economy, all moral concerns aside.

It shows how badly campaign financing distorts our democracy that anybody *opposes* the Buffet Rule.
