@TheNewsoul2 : I must consult my parents because perhaps you and I are twins that were seperated at birth! lol You really speak the truth. CC had the talent and potential to be bigger than U2, but as you mentioned, once heroin got a hold to George, they lost focus. Culture Club are terribly underrated and should be celebrated as being an important band of the 20th century. While I appreciate what the Black Eye Peas are 'trying' to do, I haven't 'got them' yet. And really don't care to.

Yes, but he's very sober now and has been for several years. We all have our paths. One of my favorite Culture Club songs.

His voice was wonderfully original, emotional, sweet and straight up charming! He ruined it all with heroin, booze and the other usual suspects. He was on the verge of eventual M. Jackson and/or Madonna levels of fame - at the pinnacle of success with the world at his finger tips! Then he simply disappeared one day. Sucked into a mire of an extremely hard-core drug addiction.

This is why you should never bang your bandmates. Not like I'd know PERsonally or anything... (shades eyes, looks at floor)

Oh i love this song remembering those good old days of the mid 80's! Please move move away all of you straight fucking homophobic bullies, here's a good good KICK in your ASS ... PLAAAGHH .. ;-^

I used to put replace my school ID pic with that of boy george and my older brother got angry bcoz he doesnt want me to be like him
If I remember correctly at this point (right before they dis-banded) the band members we're argueing so much (Especially George+Jon) that this video had to be shot seperately-Boy by himself. Even at the end of the video you can tell they were edited in together. Sad really. I think Jon is still in denial about his relationship with George...

@Marklinsf
Jon admitted he and George had a relationship, I think Jon was George's real love and when like many men in experimenting with their sexuality he didn't take his love for him seriously and probably thought it was a temporary thang until he found the woman he was gonna be with. It must have crushed George to think Jon didn't feel the same way.

Good Lawd, dude! Thanks for sharing this gem. I loves me some Culture Club!!! The pain in George's voice is evident. He really loved Jon. And I really love this song and album. People tend to dismiss CC as a disposible 80s band but nothing could be farther from the truth. These guys were a kick ass band with real TALENT! I miss old BET & Video Soul! You'll never see anything like this on Booty Eternal TV now! The 80s was the last decade of breaking down musical barriers. Long live the 80s!!!

@nuwavegurl
I think also the heroin he was shooting up wasn't helping George either, I thought Culture Club should have been as big as U2 is today NuWavegurl. Their music was a brew of R&B, Funk, Reggae, Glam, New Romantic and Soul was so natural sounding unlike the "Black Eyed Peas' and other modern groups who try to mix styles and fail massively. Culture Club is one of the top bands of the last 30 years and those three albums they made are classics
