  • you do realize that the 3.8 in the grand prix was on the top 10 engines of the millenium right. and will out run any honda. just ask my friend with the 00 accord v6 because i destroy him every time. imports have no torque what so ever

  • I have an 02 Grand Am with a 3400 and I can beat civics. There are a few "Ricers" that I cant beat like an rsx and some others. But either way I like my Grand Am alot... Ive had it for a year now an no problems out of it at 120k... needless to say I like it alot better than any honda

  • 93 lude h23a1 5 speed with a bigger turbo would smoke it even if it had the supercharger

  • @narlo123 Your stock 3.8 grand am isn't faster than an 00 Accord V6unless it's the supercharged one bitch

  • @XshowbizzcodgamerX lol i know,i was kidding,i love my trans am,and yea,girls do like my car haha.

  • @ojdidit84 The Wards 10 Engines Of The CENTURY. And no a GP wont outrun a TL,NSX or S2k STOCK,but get a GTP GP and with $2000 you can make them 13 second cars. And dude Pontiac sucks balls. I mean Im stuck driving this shitty ass 320 hp Trans Am... Any way.Don't bash the Buick 3800.Cause well,it is one of the best all around engines EVER made...

  • @narlo123

You might want to correct that statement about imports having no torque. I have a stock 2.5L F/I engine that makes 265hp/244tq to the crank. With a tune I'll be at around 290hp/305tq~ to the wheels (30% drivetrain loss). If thats not a lot of torque, then I don't know what is. It's enough to beat most of the cars on the road, including mustangs and GTPs.

  • o come on people if you like the car alot what does it hurt to work on it its whatever floats your boat not others if you like it then go for it id rather have a car i like thats fast than somthin i hate thats fast

  • its all about the 3.8L engine, not the 3.1

  • nice skylark, i mean cutlass, i mean malibu, i mean acheiva, oh fuck it who cares there all pieces of shit. thank good they dropped the 3 speed automatic or ud be in trouble boy, and how does it feel to finally have a/c in ur car now that its 1997?

  • hey, i spent 1650 on my 1996 grand am with 204,000 miles on it, as of today it has 292,381 miles, i have bought a starter, and a new ignition, total cost is $400, my gas mileage is incredible, and hell i smoke the tires off of it easily

  • Crap, where's the sound? i can't tell whats happening or when you two started racing lol.. I have a 1998 GAGT V6 3100, I believe it is the same thing (engine) as the one you got there, only difference is i have intake and exhaust on mine, maybe that's why i can outrun preludes any day? =]
