Most of the movies back in the day are better because the fight scenes are more realistic. CGI didn't exist then and they had to come up with creative ways to shoot awesome scenes. I love that the documentary Films of Fury goes into the history of Kung Fu films and glorifies the past. bitly .com/ooGvKw
I agree most old movies are just so much better than todays. I always go to movies trying to find one that will really hit me like i think Star wars or indiana jones or Poltergeist or E.T. hit people your age...it's really rare nowadays.
@FuryoftheFilmFan I cried just now hearing you talk about it/watching it in your video
and I don't care what people think, if something really bad happens to someone I care about I might just cry and I'm no less a man for it, I give Sh!t, I care
Screw this list, my list as follows:(not necessarily ranked best to least best) 1. The Deer Hunter 2. Vanishing Point 3. The Exorcist 4. Deliverance 5. The Godfather 6. Goodfellas 7. American Graffiti 8. Walking Tall(original) 9. Mean Streets 10. Splender in the grass 11. Heartbreak Kid(original) 12. Christine 13. Midnight Express 14. Camelot 15. Titanic
Your favorite part in Braveheart was mine too, the specific part in that scene that i loved the most: Wallce didn't say a word during the entire scene

Sir, may I just say that you are now my new inspiration to be a film critic myself. To hell with Mr. Ebert! ^__^
