I have always loved this composition and wanted to perform it, but I don't believe there has ever been an arrangement written for solo harp. I know the harp can't "sing" like a violin or cello, but I would welcome any feedback on whether or not my arrangement works, musically, for the harp. (The most significant difficulty in arranging Vocalise for harp lies in the numerous accidentals, each accomplished with pedal changes. This arrangement has 173 pedal changes.) *Music now published and available by contacting www.tamaramead.com

  • I love this piece and have also wanting to play it myself for a long time. Could I possibly purchase your arrangement?

  • @Harp2Soul I have published the arrangement and it is available for $6 + shipping/handling through my website (see the tag at the end of the video description). Thanks.

  • Good work, Tamara! This is the most unlikely piece I could imagine being arranged for solo harp, but you make it work very well indeed.

  • @OrchestrationOnline I have published the arrangement, and it is available for $6 + shipping/handling. You can contact me through my website: tamaramead

  • I love your arrangement. Have you thought of getting it published? Your pedal work is very impressive!

  • I will offer a self-published arrangement through my website, which is my name.

  • beautiful! :) amazing pedal work

  • I understand that this is an extremely frivolous comment, but your living room is beautiful. I thought that kind of decor was only in movies. ._.

  • Thanks. I have been encouraged by several people to publish it, so I will try to do that before too long.

  • Your playing & interpretation are excellent, & your pedal work is superb. This is an unusual opus for the Harp.
