FORE Street was once again lined by hundreds as the Remembrance Sunday parade led by the Tiverton Town Band made its way towards St Peter's Church.
At Newport Street the National Anthem was played before the procession headed into the church for a service honouring the families and victims of war.
After the service the parade headed back down to Tiverton's War Memorial Building on Angel Hill where wreaths were laid as the town and its dignitaries paid its own tributes.
Following the wreath laying the town band played the Last Post which was followed by a moment's silence.
After the parade was dismissed there was a toast to her majesty the queen at the Royal British Legion.
It was also a proud day for Flight Sergeant Lewis Johnson from 1079 Tiverton Squadron Air Training Corps who was awarded a badge for his role as mayor's cadet.
