Another Persistent Vegetative State Muhammad Hussain of Pasheen Quetta Pakistan. Thanks to all of you once again for encouraging me. By grace of God we are inching slowly but visible to some improvement, Jawad Pasha is now fully conscious/aware with a very good health but still without motor function.
Today I have once again to remind you that I have come to know about another Persistent Vegetative State in Pakistan. His name is Muhammad Hussain. He is just 16 years old. He is located at somewhere in Pasheen near Quetta Pakistan. PVS is the greatest health problem. If someone can do something for him,Still I am only on telephonic contact with the family but I talked with the patient and the family and gave them the hope. Now the boy has started responding by blinking eyes and trying to speak.He is a very deserving case of an area where almost no facility is available. The boy has some bedsore and some contructure has been developed in his arms and legs due to unawareness but during last months efforts it is little improving.I am trying my best and a very hopeful results are expected, I have sent there one paramedical who has worked with my son for years and he told that he seems to be responding.I talked with the patient many times and his family is little happy that they feel that he is responding. It is a very interesting event of today which i want to share with you all that I stressed the boy on cell phone to show some response that his family could tell me that he is responding. His sister told me that first time after his accident he raised one finger up and made some movement with his mouth. This case is also indicating that my view about PVS is true that most of these are conscious. His full name is Muhammad Hussain Khan Kakar. He seems to be awakening. Still no proper responce but showing signs of responding. I hope that within next two months he will start responding. I am using my personal experience and different tips which I learnt with different sources. My first advise to everyone taking care of a Persistent Vegetative State , Minimally Conscious State or locked in syndrome is to realise rhat these persons are very afraid due to their total disability so they should be never left alone.

@fungirlparty I also wish it was true, but i made the video myself and its 100% real.... but this guy has improved alot, now he has started talking and he has started eating from his own mouth....

Plz pray for hussain and Jawad Pasha, Jawad Pasha is another cute handsome guy who is in same stated for almost 6 years....

@gullf1sk i believe in prayers then science, science is nothing without prayers and i ve seen prayers worked where science failed.... i can give you a number of examples...

Science does not in any way rely on prayers. In fact, prayers have been demonstrated not to work time and time, and time again.

Sure, give me the examples. Also, show me where these results have been reproduced in a laboratory.

By several different labs.

If the results are consistent, we might be on to something. But my guess is some vague claim that can not be backed up by anything what so ever.

@gullf1sk I can give you a number of examples, but lets make it more constructive... So you believe in science because science got proves, logic and detailed explanations. You also need to understand science didnt come all of a sudden... Years of research and hard-work led to scientific discoveries and advancement.... but those scientific ideas didnt come out of the hat... Numerous religious books and scriptures told us things thousands of years ago which science is proving today....

@gullf1sk Lets take Big Bang Theory, Earth, Sun and Moon movement along it axis, field of medicine, other fields of science, which science is proving today has been in written thousands of years ago in different religious scriptures and all this has been told as miracles of GOD, so if modern science is proof of existence of GOD then it makes perfect sense that if we pray from same GOD then HE may bless us like HE has before,,

He seems to be responding. He needs to have a trained physical therapist by his side. I've heard of people who were paralyzed who have improved dramatically with expert help. He has some motor ability and is clearly cognizant, so he could probably benefit greatly from an intense physical therapy program.

According to the Dutch Wikipedia (I am Dutch) about PVS:

'The patient may yawn, grimace, and have a day-night rhythm.'

It looks like this young man is smiling, but yes, I also doubt if it's really PVS, because it looks like he's responding (moving head to talking people etc.). I'm not an expert, it's just what I think.

He doesn't seem to have persistent vegetative state. He is cognizant of what people around him are saying. I thought that people with PVS lost all cognizant abilities. For instance, Terry Schiavo used to react to simple stimuli such as light flashed in her face, or a pinch, but not to speech. This young man is smiling, etc.. He seems to understand. I'm not an expert, but this is my understanding.

buddykhan -I'm very interested in this story. I have a brother in this state. I was wondering from the moment you and his family found out about this, how did you know he was still there? did he make any kind of movements? shugging his shoulders, sucking on his tougue? Snoring? How did you know the deferences between the involuntairy and voluntairy movements?

I'm asking because I'm trying to understand my brother's chances.
