Laura Nader is a model wise and compassionate elder. I wish she was the President of the USA. Since Reagan including Clinton and Obama we have had nothing but slimy scheming unethical presidents instigating and promoting injustice in the US and abroad.

First of all, USA is a Democratic-Republic. Anyone who attended a political science class would understand that.

Second, technically speaking the USA is more between of social and communist, but definitely legalism, government. than a Republic. A Republic only as a Consul and rest or senators =p

And none of this is new in the USA. This event happens alot in California. The only difference between CA and the other states is simple. Capitol hill in Caly don't use Calculators.

On the issue of water rights... in Miami at the CAFTA actions the panel of Southern hemisphere farmers talking on water issues was held at a church. The Feds & local police positioned over 200 armoured police and a water cannon (trained on the church door) to intimidate anyone attending.

Vitally important issue in this corpotcracy-state.

I'm so glad she mentioned the Anglo-American problem. The US is not a Democracy it is a Constitutional Republic. The fathers could see how Democracy had usurped our(UK) Bill of Rights and Constitution(copied by the US), but tried to make sure it could not be usurped. It worked until the Fed. Res. was installed. It's such a shame to see how quickly you're losing your Constitution. Legislation has now fully usurped the Rule of Law. I hope the US and UK wake up before it is too late. Great lecture.
