Lucinda McKinney made her solo flight on the morning of August 26, 2009 in an Astra 912 at Hearne Municipal Airport, Texas. Lucinda turned 65 in March.

Lucinda was back in the front seat the the next day. She continues her training at every opportunity and soon to be a licensed Sport Pilot WSC.
UPDATE:

Way to go Lucenda! That big smile at the end of the flight says it all. That's a pretty hot trike and wing to learn in.
I solo'ed on the day after my 66th birthday and now have about 150 hours in the air.
