I wonder what Nirvana's next album would have sounded like.

are you kidding dude? if you wanna start when good music hit, you might've as well just started in the late 50's that's when music heated up, once it hit 2000, a lot of people ran out of ideas because all of the gold was taken in the previous 50 years.

@TheNewWorldMan69 they brought pat in to fill the guitar sound in the bigger arenas they played towards the end

I am an artist very inspired by Kurt. I don't care about the money I care about the message. Check out my band Exovox on here!

"I'm not saying I'm going to be Mick Jagger but..." (KC)
Kurt just wanted to be able to relax a bit on stage, with someone covering his back on a second guitar he could move more freely and probably enjoy it more, I read something like this

@sydbarrett5 God if only, you know he's giving the God's a good show along with Hendrix and lennon!

@TheNewWorldMan69 .....and it took some of the load off for Kurt playing lead and/or rhythm

i have tickets from this show.

@TheNewWorldMan69 i think their performances as a four-piece were definitely tighter. also two guitars, when you have a strong player, will often sound better (especially when pretty much all the studio recordings had two guitar parts, even on in utero). and pat added a lot of backing vocal stuff too.

best band and songwriter ever.

what was the point hiring Pat Smear? I got nothing against him but, they play just fine live when it was the three of them.

kurt really liked him, towards the end pat was the only person he was really talking to on the road. and he liked the energy he bought when he played.

and i think it was a conscious effort on kurt's part to bring some of the underground back into the band, as they had gotten so huge and everyone knows his feelings on that. but it's just my opinion, i haven't really read anything that confirms it.
