Sticks and Stones

Pieces of my "Life Puzzle."
Without the pieces that need to fit into my "Life Puzzle" my puzzle is incomplete. And as my puzzle grows my eyes open wider. At times, the pieces seem to take on different shapes. Sometimes, they don't fit anymore or what I thought fit perfectly, doesn't seem to fit at all. Pieces come in and out of my life all the time, every day. Sometimes when pieces come into my life, that I thought fit in the beginning, often take on change when a little bit of time has lapsed. Pieces change. Pieces grow. They grow into different shapes or even different sizes. They can grow bigger or much, much smaller. They take on new shape as they grow or shrink in stature. Sometimes changing for the better and making the fit more comfortable. And sometimes, the pieces change so much that they don't fit anymore at all. This is when pieces fall out of my "Life Puzzle" and move on to different puzzles to try their fit there. When I realize that the pieces that don't fit, and aren't in my puzzle anymore, new pieces emerge and take their place. Where once was a void, now has substance, life and character once more. And the process keeps repeating itself over and over until my puzzle is complete. And, at the end of my life, I will stand back and look at my "Life Puzzle" and see how it has woven itself into a beautiful tapestry with a collage of different colors, shapes and sizes. My "Life Puzzle" will finally be complete and I will feel whole. But for now, my "Life Puzzle" is still on a very long journey.......

A recent day at the beach opened my eyes to a realization that my youtube friends are pieces of my "Life Puzzle." You might not be in my life physically but, I see you every day. I experience your life through your videos as you experience mine. There's a connection, a bridge, a link, a puzzle piece. Where once there was a void in my puzzle, you have filled it with color and shape.
Have I told you lately how much I appreciate your friendship?...your kindness?...and your love? Have I told you how much I appreciate your comments, your subscriptions and your ratings? Have I told you how much I appreciate your videos and the time invested in each and every one of them? Have I told you how much I appreciate you?....Just for being you?...as a piece in my "Life Puzzle?"
