Morphine..... Potion

The song Potion by the wonderful and forgotten band "Morphine"
I was 18 when Mark Sandman died. I never saw him play live, but Morphine remains one of my favorite bands. It was a little coffee shop/cd store called Tarnanula's in Tampa, where Nick the owner said he had a new cd i should listen too. The first song that came on was this song. I bought the cd right after.

@letsgo395 Nada, It was in Town and Country, a place called Tarantulas. Was open from 1995 to maybe 1999, opened by Nick and his wife. A huge Bob Dylan fan. Used to make me Americanos. A lot of great florida circuit bands played there, Ska, punk, 403 Chaos hardcore groups, rock and a bunch of folk weridos on thursdays. I even played once.. badly.

@sharpiefinepoiny Lmao @ badly. I used to live out in TnC back in the days. I went to Coleman junior high and Baycrest elementry. I lived in Baycrest itself in pahes one behind the old kmart which is now home depot i guess off hilsboro n memorial. TnC will always have a special place in my heart. i was there during the 80s. an no thanks. i'll pass on the Dylan. lolz
