There's a place near me that has a Christmas Carol theme. And I'm not saying just like some giant doll that looks like Scroge, it is COMPLETELY decked out with animatronics! On the roof, on the lawn and all that! It is frickin' awesome! :D

im getting pretty tired of christmas
i like presents and giving presents
i like the happy feeling that it kinda reminds you of having when you were a kid
but sometimes i feel like its gone too far with the commercialism and basically right after halloween the christmas decorations go up
it feels stressful and too much sometimes
oh ya and if you dont spend X amount on your present its not perceived to be as good a present
i think most folks lost sight of what its supposed to be about

Oh, poor you. People actually celebrate Christmas in your town. In my town, maybe three houses will have lights and no other decorations. And not even a lot of lights. There was one house last year with a string of blue lights across HALF THE DOOR FRAME.
But then again, no one in my town cares about Halloween either. :P
