I like it! So question: Will it work as a solid color par light as well? Just curious.

There are ways to program them yourself using DMX/LED programming techniques, you could change the patterns to only display one of the colors, but its not really right to be used as LED par cans. The LEDs are spaced out to create the patterns, not all bunched up together to give the par can effect. Its more of a backslash or ceiling effect. I haven't tried it on the dance floor yet but i'm sure I will have good results.
