Touch of Heaven

This brief production is a visual description of the current status of St. Genevieve Catholic Church along Bayou Liberty in Slidell, Louisiana, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005. Two years after parishioners are still on the process of building a new church, rectory and office. The "Touch of Heaven" theme was written by Michael Dubina and set to music by Boholano composer, Fr. J. Roel Lungay, who also happens to be the pastor of said church.

This is the church that I grew up in. I was born and raised just up the street. I cannot believe it's gone. I live in Bilixi whewe I had damage here as well. Home will forever be Bayou Liberty. This video is shocking. Tears are running down my face as I type. Thanks for posting.
