Niely done.
-
it's an Irving Berlin song, if I'm not mistaken.
-
Leon copped this tune from Louis Armstrong's version I believe.
-
this is so entertaining to make random noises in beat with this ;P
-
Interesting. Next time, turn on a light. ;-)
-
Wow -- I really enjoyed your playing on this classic tune -- thanks for sharing!

I like that old-timey sound. It makes me visualize some kind of silent movie.

HAWT!!!
That just sounds so much like a tango and Finns and Argentinians are the only two nations that are berserk about tangos
-
Actually its written by Irving Berlin. Great tune.

I hope you'll continue the banjo-to-uke transfer,
this is great stuff!
I have been wondering if it would be worth while learning clawhammer
and now I'm really motivated.
And it's a perfect song for the blend, I think.
5 stars, what else can I say?

I think clawhammer is well worth while. Its about the most fun I have had with a musical instrument. Check dobro33h (patrick Costello) for some fine workshops on frailing (aka claw).
I think there are a couple of other claw style ukulele tunes in ytube land, but I cannot remember where. (just searched, there are a lot more now, sweet.)

Thanks! I will have to sit down and think about what chords I am playing. I tend to think in terms of guitar chords, and some of these were the result of finding things that sounded right.
