Her face stopped traffic so hard in the 40s that MGM had to take off her promotional images during rush hours and weekends. Now people talk about Rita Hayworth or Grace Kelly whenever mentioning a "classic beauty". No, Hedy Lamarr defined that word. And she's also a genius. Just wonder why I rarely hear people mentioning her in any classic film discussion...

Hedy Lamarr is gloriously beautiful to make anyone faint from the impression. The word "beautiful" was invented for her. Love the song too.
