In June of 2007 we drove 200 miles up to El Mirage to watch the races. This was the first long distance drive of the Red Dot II roadster which was a pile of parts in January. Even though it was 97 degrees, the car ran great, other than a few boil overs.
There is not much more satisfying than building a car from scratch then blasting down the road with open headers!
This is the revised version, I added some footage from LUKE BROWN and cleaned up the editing. This is the second time using the imovie program and would recommend it to anyone.
thanks for watching!

Very cool.......and I may be using this for inspiration....I am getting a 40' Coupe and the "Pops" dream is to drive a roadster to Cali.......El Mirage or Bust.
