Game Maker 7 - 3D Showcase (Interesting 3D Techniques.)

3rd compilation of game footage demonstrating the power and flexibility of the 3D functions in Game Maker 7, a program often underestimated. All the footage in this video is from games that I have created. I haven't used any DLLs or extensions, only the core features of the Game Maker 7 package.

As of September 2009, all the games featured in this video are unfinished, and are unfortunately unavailable for downloading. However, Total Anarchy is due for release in the next couple of months and the other games wont be far behind. They will also be free to download.

I also composed the music in the background, and that will feature in the freeware 'At Large' album under the name 'Aeolia.'

1. Go To The Game Maker Community Forum

2. Go to the 3D Techniques section and then to the Editable Examples subforum.

3. Try out the many editable tutorials and examples, they are far more varied and useful than anything I can currently offer, and you get to learn faster.

I hate when people diss on game maker saying that you cannot create 3d game well on game maker; this video gives clear evidance that 3d games can be made on game maker and that it definitely should be given a try.
