@stephen2152002 Smoking and diet are certainly risk factors for cancer. Eating a poor diet and smoking absolutely reeks havoc on the immune system. Your body ends up fighting off all the foreign chemicals like trans fat and artificial chemicals, instead of focusing on fighting cancerous cells. I was simply refuting his claim that "specific carcinogens don't cause cancer" or at least that is what this video seems to hint at. Cancer is very complex and everything plays a role in its development.

@jhoa001 Actually, it isn't false; carcinogens are a factor, but not the master cause (case closed), so don't worry about your diet (digest soda, beer, milk, red meats, white flour ). How many smokers do you know pay attention to their diets? Or even care for that matter? Smoking decreases appetite, and I'm sure smokers don't choose that depleted diet wisely. Therefore, if the person gets cancer, you can conclude it's because of the poor diet...otherwise nonsmokers wouldn't get cancer.

I agree with most of this film but the statement at the end of the video is false. Specific carcinogens Do cause cancer. The fact that vitamin deficiencies cause cancer and the fact that carcinogens cause cancer are two separate matters. You can't say that because vitamin deficiencies are shown to cause cancer, then carcinogens automatically don't cause cancer. That is illogical.

@Rain44maker pancreatic cancer is advanced cancer. if cancer were addressed prior to the formation of pancreatic cancer then they might have had a shot. but to expect a miracle at the point you have pancreatic cancer, which usually happens after other cancers are well established is expecting much. at the point of pancreatic cancer, cut and burn really are likely your only options.

@ZionSamurai87 you can chew any grass, but need to spit out most of the pulp, because we don't have 7 stomachs. Personally , I think chewing and spiting out is superior to juicing, as the saliva is the beginning of digestion, although wheatgrass juice is nearly instantly digested, and this may not apply. I don't have the cash for a juicer anyway.
