Around Town W/ Ben Garrison - 2011 Newstead 5k - South Orange NJ - Achieve Foundation

Welcome to my most recent "Around Town" video which features the 2011 Newstead 5k in South Orange NJ. This wonderful community event benefits the "Achieve Foundation" a not for profit organization that raises money for the Maplewood and South Orange school system. The yearly Autumn race begins and ends in front of the South Mountain Annex, a k-1 grade school in Newstead which is part of the South Mountain school.

Newstead is a beautiful and quiet neighborhood in South Orange that sits beside the South Mountain Reservation - a 2,000 acre wilderness area with wonderful biking, hiking and walking trails overlooking New York City. Grand Colonials and Tudors mix with contemporary homes to give this open tree lined neighborhood a unique feel.
