I would guess it would melt a hole in the plastic, which releases all pressure out of the hole (Launching it in the opposite direction of the hole out of the fire).
Would look damn cool, gotta do that. :P
Btw if you take the lid off really quickly the fizzy drink shoots out 15-25 feet.xD
