Lovely piece! I grew up in Ohio and getting to hang out a bit with Johansen, meeting Bowie, Buell, having friends in common was kind of dreamlike. It was fun to find out they are real people, and these three nice, too. Wish I could've met Foxe! The three were accidental meetings -- and an unscheduled visit to Johansen's place for reasons I don't recall. That was New York for ya! Greetings from France.

@h2oinplasticbottles yeah, i read the book, somet things are true, of course but there're other things that are like "yes, or not, uhm..." cuz she contradicts herself a lot. He talked about it, he never blamed Cyrinda, he blamed himself for all the drugs and mistakes he did, he just didn't give a shit about anything. It was very nice of his part to dedicate What It Takes to her the day she died though
