hitler was misled by early historians that the word 'arya' in sanskrit language means white race from Germany or central europe. in fact the word 'arya' is a title something like 'sir' given to nobility. early historians thought the similarity of a few words in the sanskrit language to latin means that there was migration from germany to india. there is no concrete evidence of such migration.Columbus thought he found India, Hitler thought he found the aryan race.

according to certain documentaries, hitler did not believe the aryan race was white, he sent troops to the mountains of tibet to interview the monks there, as he thought they were the last pure aryan blood..
