  • Nice one. I have windows so i cant use this renderer :F

  • Well, there's always Maxwell...;0)

  • Problem with Rendered in Cheetah 3D, is its designed for MACS not PC's. Am I right?

  • Yes, Cheetah is written entirely by one person (Martin Wengenmeyer), and he doesn't have the time, resources or inclination to produce a Windows version, so Mac-only...but I don't see that as a problem...;0)

  • this cant be sketchup, the graphic is much better here then in the program, great building!

  • The modelling is in SketchUp. "Rendered in Cheetah 3D" might be a clue...;0). Anyway, I've written a tutorial on how to model this - it'll be in issue 99 of 3D World.

  • hey Timdanaher! Great stuff! Is there any chance to find that tutorial somwhere else, for us who don't have the 99th issue of 3d World magazine?

  • Well, Google SketchUp is free -- you should give that a go...the Pro version just contains file-format exporters and the Sandbox tools in addition.

  • yeah. my bad, i got it a long time ago, its a demo.tho i thought it was freeware. oh well .

  • Well, actually, this was done with SketchUp Pro and Cheetah, neither of which are free programs...but yes, in general, freeware does "rock"
