His footing is one of the more classic techniques used by curlers. It's rarely seen but it just goes to show how much of a pro Andy is by using that very technique. Infact, it makes it even more impressive. It has yet again raised my confidence in Andy as a curler

I really thought it'd make it. It had the power and Andy definatly had the technique nailed. I can't possibly see how it failed.Maybe I just got a little over excited, maybe it was the haunting echo of the halls, call me crazy, but I just can't see how Andy failed. It just doesn't make sense.The only thing I can think of is the fact that my attention was drawn to the vent close to the floor. There may be a slight breeze blowing Northwards from it, causing slight wind resistance.
