@KiomeTsukashi I agree with TheWysocke when he said Nabi loved her all along, but I think the reasoning was a bit different. I think his scaft was gray was because when Doki got hurt, he felt he was hurting her by being with her. Despite his own feelings, he wanted all the chaos their relationship was causing to end; so he broke it off. When he realized that she had never given up on him, I think he decided that their happiness was more powerful than anything society could do to keep them apart.

@billyjoeboby123 i read that in korea, they use ribbons for prayers. so those could have been all of her prayers (and those of some supporters) hanging on the tree. you could be right too though lol

@KiomeTsukashi Oh, he loved her ever since the end of the first step. It went gray when his spirit was broken in the previous step, not because he didn't know how he felt. It lost its green BECAUSE he loved her and yet he gave in and broke up with her. No, it changed back to green when he stopped giving a damn about what society wanted. "Damn the torpedos and damn the intolerant," he was saying there, "I love Doki and like hell am I going to let it end like this."

God this series was so...touching...and its so excellently made. The drawings, the storyline, the characters, the music, everything. I just wish it could last longer...but then again that would ruin the series...DokixNabi forever
