Eating Raw Chicken in Athens, OH with Raw Foodist Michael Taylor - Gross!!!

While on a trip to Athens, Ohio to enjoy the Paw Paw Festival and facilitate discussion for a screening of PolyCultures: Food Where We Live, hosted by Warren Taylor and the lovely folks at Snowville Creamery - I met filmmaker Michael Taylor, a raw foodist. He convinced Will Taylor and me to try some raw chicken he butchered himself. It was really gross, to say the least.

Raw chicken is dog food. People have been cooking since we discovered fire and it is totally the way to go.. at least in my opinion.

@PupsLeonandI ... The animal must be killed the same day it is consumed, oher wise it isn't good to eat raw. ...Tartar is preferable to just plainly eat the raw meat.

@PupsLeonandI a chicken 2 and half weeks old is suicide (salmonela). If you eat raw meat, eat it freashly killed...just like with fish, for sushis.
