NO. I'm not knocking him of course. Plus, Ringo is the cuttest human being ever born. I just made an analogy pointing out that one sole member can't be called the band. SO I'm glad we both aggree.

@begbieboy That is true, but don't knock Ringo, please. He was as much a part of the Beatles as any other member, but Mike love didnt play any instruments, so I can agree with your statement haha

The band is not the beach Boys, just Mike Love and friends. There are a couple of bands performing on the west coast that have more members connected to the Beach Boys.

if it hadnt been for mike love and the present line up thousands of bb fans all over the world would have been robbed of seeing and hearing such great concerts,thanks mike and keep it going.the music goes on.

@75DrummerBoy Sorry, but I disagree with you. Although Mike Love's vocals were prominent in a lot of their songs, Carl's (and Brian's when he was with them) was of paramount importance. Look at 'God Only Knows', and 'Good Vibrations', to name just two. For me, Carl was the voice of the BB. alienhuman hit the nail on the head: 'No Wilsons-No Beach Boys. Just my opinion though.

Because Brian legally gave them the name and they're good......Mike is and always will be the voice of the Beach Boys and this band they have now is awesome and has earned the name!
