  • this is not good teaching.. most every good player in the world re-routes the club on the downswing into the slot and hits from the inside... this instruction only talked about half of the process and could be very confusing to players trying to learn the correct downswing move... no one would really be taken seriously with this kind of instruction

    You obviously have entirely missed the point. I am talking about dropping the hands independent of the body shifting and turning. You don't drop the hands on purpose, they "shallow' as a result of the body shifting and unwinding properly. Also, one plane swingers would disagree with you.

  • @hititlong I couldn't agree more with you! Rickie Fowler drops his hands a lot and has to fire his arms hard at impact to avoid getting stuck imo. Compare that with someone like keegan bradley who get the elbow much more in front and never looks stuck.

  • This is exactly what Hogan DID NOT teach. This is exactly what Haney DOES NOT teach for slicers.
