She might be a "pop sensation", but she hacked the life out of this song, to serve herself... Why oh why can't they leave the "make it your own" motivation out of this song, unless you really really know you can hit the notes... It's already a challenge to stand up in front of a huge crowd, knowing millions may are watching, with the emotion of delivering your nation's anthem, without having to flourish it to death... Nice job. Come again.

Well, the late Selena was Spanish, but she could blow most Spanish singers and song non-Spanish singers out of the water with her voice. I know where you're coming from, but then again Selena's first language was English and she sang English music before Spanish music as well.

In my opinion that was a mess. Personally, I believe she has a voice, but she put too much vocal acrobatics into it and just didn't pull it off. She should have put more of herself instead of being like every other singer who sang it. And for the national anthem, you don't need all those riffs, it should be sung through the heart and in a proud way to be living here. She doesn't suck in general but that performence was terrible i'm sorry.
