In this video, Aunt Jane Smith recalls that she graduated New Paltz State Teachers College, then a 3-year program - when she was just 19 years old. She then taught at Congers Elementary School, and even had her very own youngest brother - Tommy Heath - in her Third Grade class! This video was shot today, Sept 18th, 2010, when Jane along with her daughter Debra and husband Leo D'Aquista, and son Leo, Jr, spent the day here in Langley for a cross country race that Leo, Jr, participated in. Coincidently, this was the day back in Congers when Jane's brother, Gene Heath, was memorialized in a service at the United Methodist Church. According to Jane, she and her brothers attended Sunday School at that same church when they were young, and that Gene & Peg Heath were married there.
