i have iPhone 4s. i did the same thing

IT ERASED ALL MY SONGS !

and also it's not working - adding the ringtones

2:42 Instead of doing it his way, go to Library - Tones, then Drag ur ringtone into the Devices- Tones. This will keep it from erasing your library. It worked for my iPhone 4s.

I was following fine until you got to Çustom.'I don't have that on my phone which is the same version as yours. Did I miss something?.
