This trailer of Shenmue for the Sega Dreamcast was featured in the November 2000 issue of the Official Dreamcast Magazine. This trailer is fantastic because it shows all of the different game play functions Shenmue has to offer.

Shenmue continues to have a large cult following and its fans continue to wait anxiously for Sega and Yu Suzuki to finish the saga.

Again that I can respect your own opinion. But this game teaches patience and apperciation of atmosphere. And if you think this game is not fun, it has QTE's(God of War, Resident Evil 4, Dragon's Lair etc have QTES too) and a real life combat system. BTW It has a fanbase.

It's new thinking sure, but that new thinking doesn't result in a fun game. That's my point. This game badly wants to be a movie, and I would rather look through the whole adventure on YouTube than actually play it myself. It may be emotional and free, but it's not fun to play.

While I can respect your own opinion, but this game is not supposed to be like Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda, Street Fighter, Call of duty, etc. This game offers not only a new genre like F.R.E.E but a living and breathing enviroment and minor emotional cutscenes. And if you think this hgame is not that fun, it has also arcade mini games and an open world virtua fighter-esque combat system. And BTW games are suppposd to have the difference between fast paced games and emotional games.
