Tackhead banjo with internal tensioning system. Rim is mahogany and bloodwood, neck is wormy maple, fretboard roseswood with a wormy-maple inlay at the 5th fret, peghead is rosewood with a stripe of wormy maple. While the tuners may appear to be friction fiddle pegs, they are actually mechanical Pegheds. They work very well and keep the aesthetic of a tackhead banjo.

nice video, amazing build. I'm trying to buiold an appalachian banjo, so please answer a question if you will: how do you increase the tension on the head?
