YouTube Partnership - Account Monetization Explained...

In this video I explain YouTube's new partnership program, Account Monetization. This new program let's you apply any of your videos for revenue sharing. Applying any video that you upload for revenue sharing used to be a full partner only feature. But now some other people can get this feature without being a complete partner. I only have 24 subs and am starting to get almost 100 views per video. Is mine legit or fake? The link leads me to the setup so.....???

@migthebest1211 there is no such thing as legit or fake in monetization. And I wouldn't set it up if I were u. Once you get monetization its harder to get partnered and if you set up monetization and you get banned u cannot become a parnter.

So how can you make money of gaming vids? Can i still get the account monetization and earn money from letssay, tutorials and such?

@migthebest1211 you can get account monetization, but you won't be able to enable ads on your gaming videos. If you make a video filming your dog then u can make money from it.

So do you need to be partnered with machinima for this? If I decide i want to try and go for full partnership, do i need to edit my account vids? What partnership do you have? My friend is earning money and is not partnered with machinima.

@migthebest1211 This (monetization) is not a machinima or a partnership. It is just a way for youtubers to get money. You cannot make money when from your gaming videos with monetization ( this) because you don't have the rights to use cod in your videos.
