Hornby Island Private Dump Belated Removal.

May 31st, 2010 after 3 decades this private, never tested, dump on Hornby Island was cleared. Even neighbors were shocked to see the volume of garbage removed. A HazMat team came to remove toxic waste in metal containers so old they had rusted through and spilt their contents on the ground. This material was left by Islands Trust during the last taxpayer funded faked "clean-up." Twenty Five industrial dumpsters (20 x 8 ft), countless dump truck loads
The majority of this garbage came from the Hornby Island "Recycling" Depot, depriving others of recycling and using the materials hoarded here.
