Shot at the only crossing in the small town of Blue River, British Columbia. Blue River has a passing track and a small yard (3 storage tracks) but no locomotives are stationed here. One thing I did notice was that the mainline rails were manufactured in Japan.

  • What a rare lashup. Nice location and catch. Is this the clear water sub? or Alberda?

  • @DieselSmoke92 Blue River is the start of the Clearwater Sub and the train is heading into it.

  • @ppc7400 Thanks for the info. I have a friend, hes a CN conductor. In NOV 26th he was acually stranded with his train right in blue river, BC. The whole edson sub was closed down due to huge derailment and massive snow storm and NO visability. We were stranded in Hinton due to bad weather as we were heading to Jasper, AB.
