DISCLAIMER: I am NOT an interpreter! I understand that the art of ASL is very complex, and what I do is much closer to "Signed English" as opposed to actual ASL. Rannensmom is completely right about #1 but only partially right about #2. It's not exactly derogatory, it's just a little...explicit. If you shift the hand over so the tip of your index finger is on the chin, rather than where your thumb and index finger meet, you'll be a lot less blunt. The sign you made is kind of blunt, I guess, though I do know many lesbians who use it.

And thanks for the tip about the sign I used for "lesbian" being explicit/derogatory! When I re-make this video, I'll make sure to put the index finger instead of the thumb-forefinger web on the chin.

Is vagina the sign I see many soccer players make after they score a goal?

It seems exactly the same with thumbs and forefingers touching.

Ive even seen musicians make the sign,... which only makes sense since both those groups get to see a lot of them in their line of work.

Look at these two giants vaginas and tell me if Im wrong:

@seksfibreglass I wish that was the same thing, but unfortunately it's not. The sign for 'vagina' is done with the hands down and palms facing inwards. It also only uses the thumb and pointer fingers, and the rest of the fingers are tucked under. The sign you see rappers doing is the symbol for Jay-Z's record company, Roc-A-Fella Records. I've never seen the soccer player thing, so I don't know what they're doing. Thanks for clarifying!

@thfemale Yes, that would be right - but I'd use LICK in classifier form! That is, take the sign for VAGINA, put it so the pointer fingers are facing up and in front of your mouth, and mime licking them. (It's not necessary to even put your tongue out, just move your head like you're licking.)
