The way your describing it sounds like you are running straight pipe by gutting the cats. I would recommend a set of high flow cats to "tame" the sound. I have never been a fan of the straight pipe sound.

i put the si/do on today and gutted the cat it sounds like shit doenst have any crackle do i need to install a high flow cat to get the crackle i thought it would make it crack more without the cat

@sanditeful Yeah, Magnaflow hiflow cats, old ones got plugged up when i broke a bolt on one of my collectors and the engine started dumping extra fuel down the pipes. In this video I think it is the stock cats, which oddly enough were louder then the magnaflows I have now.

2005 Dodge Quadcab 2wd, 5.7L and I am loving every gas guzzling mile of it too! You should hear it in person. It is very pleasing to the ear.
