Taiwan Rock Band "1976" performed at Geisai Art & Music festival at Taipei on Nov 28,2010

Band 1976 was formed in the summer of 1996. 1976 are consisting of two origianl members, Vocal Raykai and Guitarist Zac, and joined by current drummer Alice and Bassist Chouc. To date, 1976 has become one of the most remarkable names in the rock music field in Taiwan. They have released 6 albumes, including two albums selected as "Top 10 Album of the year" by China Times, local newspaper in Taiwan, named as
" Sense of Direction"and " Encourage with love" .

Their music deeply influenced by the 80's and is especially loved by the young rock lovers in Taiwan for their poetic lyrics and their melody inspired by new wave and post-punk. In 2010 Golden Melody Award in Taiwan, they are awarded as the Best Band with their latest album" Manic Pixie Dream Girl" .
