@DarkVisions99 - It wouldn't make sense. An elastic band is great for when you're tying the tulle to the waistband, but in this method, we're tying a waistband to the tulle.
If you mean 'Can I use this method, then attach an elastic band for a fitted waist?' I think that's doable. However, you'd need to make a strand of tied tulle much longer than your waist, and then stretch your elastic and sew it to the strand.
I use a completely different method when I sew in an elastic band.

I am about to make my tutu for Halloween tonight. I have view a couple of your videos & enjoyed the way you put them together. I've made smaller tutu's but I believe the tuck & tie is awesome & wish I would have known how to do it before the other way I've done it.

i apologized if you metioned this in the other video, i might of missed it, but about how inches (or cm which ever you are more comfy with using) of string do you need compared to waist size. example if my waist is 10 i need so many plus inches of string.

@cricketprincess1988 - The string question is tricky because for one thing, it's double your waist, because you're tying to strands together. Also, every time you make a knot, it gets a little bit shorter, so there's no telling how many inches to subtract for each knot. I would say to always keep an extra yard (or meter) of string.

This method will make a tutu with the fullness of that fluffy white tutu at the end of your first video (Tuck And Tie, Sew or No-Sew Tutu Tutorial)?

@dawnistaaa - Yes, it will. The tulle I used in this video was originally tied with twine, so if you plan to use yarn like this, I'd use thicker tufts of tulle.
