This is my 1966 mustang coupe that me and my dad are restoring,it still needs a new paint job but overall its a very neat car enjoy.

you should hose down the engine compartment, it should help alot, my friend's dad said he could have his chevelle ss when he gets a licensee, so we are doing basically the same you are, well good luck!
