The bricklayer's craft ranges from building and repairing walls to installing firebrick linings inside industrial chimneys. To learn the basics of bricklaying, start with building a low garden wall.

  • Infomation on heres isn't so in depth, for foundation you need to dig until u hit clay and then fill in with cement, u need 10mm gap between each brick (both at the side and below the bricks) also you dont need to use a trowel to spread morar on the bottom of the bricks for the base (1st course) you just spread it accross the bloor and then lay your bricks... but you still need to lay morar on the side of the bricks for the 10mil gap.

  • Pretty much fundamentally wrong. What was the point in finding the center of the pad? And obviously the person who made this has actually never seen a brick laid. Way to do your research guys. I am however going to try troweling the mortar onto the bottom of the brick from now on. OK so it had 1 accurate point LOL

  • What a load of shit, who ever came up with this animated crap has never seen a brick being laid never mind laid one..

  • @JetsGD04 I'm sooooo shocked for your comment...just do it man, I just learnt to brick just praticing and nothing else. You are lucky for living in Canada, your pay is way better than Brazil.
